Here is the answer to my last post: what are the names of the 7 dwarfs? I know that it is incredibly easy to “google” it and immediately get the answer, but I am so glad that I can do it now without any outside help.
It takes so little to make me happy! Here is my little memory helper. I noticed that the names in alphabetical order include: 1 B, 2 D’s, 1 G, 1 H, and 2 S’s. That has been the only clue that I have needed. Of course, in a few days, I might forget even the simple sequence of letters, but for this moment in time, I have the answer to a popular trivia question!
So, here I go from memory: the one “B” is Bashful, the two “D’s” are Doc and Dopey, the one “G” is Grumpy, the one “H” is Happy, and the 2 “S’s” are Sleepy and Sneezy.
You may think that this is all very silly and unimportant, but I am convinced that playing little memory games is a great way to keep your mind alert. Another way is to do math problems without a calculator.
Here’s one that you will probably already know if you happen to be Jewish, but it is a fun question that isn’t easily figured out: how many candles are there in a box of Hanukkah candles?
Here is what you need to know: on each night of the holiday, you light one “server” candle that you use to light the other candles, so on the first night, you light 2 candles and on the second night you light 3 candles, all the way up to the eighth and final night when you light 9 candles. Every night, you burn all of the candles completely.
So, how many candles do you need to have in the box? I learned this number the hard way when I was a very small child. There seemed to be way more candles than you could possibly need, so I started playing with the “extra” candles and managed to break a few. I got in trouble because you really need ALL of the candles in the box!
And, please don’t forget that the Tapping for Thrivers teleconference is tomorrow evening, 8 PM Central time. Join us by dialing: 712.432.0800, Code ; 132018#.
Blessings,
Kiya

The Personal Peace Procedure is a wonderful tool that I offer to all of my clients and students. The idea is to write down all of the problems you have, and systematically tap on them.
Gary Craig says that if you don’t have at least 100 items on your list, you probably haven’t been paying attention!
I like to encourage people to put their problems into broad categories and then break them down into smaller and smaller components. By helping people to organize their problems, it becomes much easier to get to the specifics of an issue.
For instance, a person might be dealing with lots of issues about work. If that person just wrote down: “I hate my job” and tried to tap on that, they probably wouldn’t get very far because it isn’t specific enough. What I encourage people to do is to follow one of the many useful metaphors for getting very specific.
For instance, if we were producing a movie of your life, “hating my job” might be a scene in that movie. We want to get to just ONE FRAME of that scene. You might want to list many “frames” from that scene, but each one would become a tappable issue.
So, the scene would be “I Hate My Job,” and some of the “frames” of the scene might be:
In my upcoming Personal Peace Workshop, I will teach you how to organize your issues so that you can develop your own Personal Peace Journal.
We refer to the activity as “personal peace” because the commitment to tap every single day on major issues, would certainly lead to a feeling of peace!

I encourage all of you to send me topics of interest to you, and I will write about them.
How many of you have experienced Borrowing Benefits? It is something that tends to happen when a group of people get together and tap using EFT.
Simply, you tap for another person and totally concentrate on them and their problem (even if it has nothing to do with you). At the end of the session, you notice that your own issues are greatly relived or totally resolved.
Personally, I have witnessed this occurrence many times. It happens a lot during couple or family sessions, workshops, and my monthly Borrowing Benefits groups. One of the many advantages of being an EFT Practitioner is that every single time I work with a client and tap with them, I benefit with my own issues!
My theory is that there is great power in tapping with a group of people. Energy is moving, even when you are not at all focused on yourself. What a great feeling it is to tap for another person, and realize that your own problems seem to fall away effortlessly!
